Bennett gave Price more than enough notice that he woud be taking the reins but alas Price failed to recruit properly and was left with an aging half, and not enough depth in key backline positions...

So the poor recruitment in a key position, namely fullback had nothing to do with a certain Tim Moltzen doing the dirty on us and lays simply on the shoulder of Steve price..

And nobody was ping to sack Hornby, okay he should have left a year early, but he didn't, so that's prices fault as well????

People, please just write off last year, Price could not have had a worse start and it had a lot to do with external factors...

I am not saying price is a great coach, but I am prepared to give him this year ..

Moltzen not coming to us was a blessing in diguise - even if it did create short term pain - this was a prime example of poor recruitment... tim Moltzen...really what were they thinking...
and whether or not Hornby left this year or last year... Price should have recruited a young halfback at the end of 2011 in preparation for hornby's departure..time to give the new player a year in the system working WITH hornby... not a year later AFTER Hornby had already gone.. now we are stuck with yet another aging half, and a young halfback who is probably a good 6 -12 months away first grade... poor planning and transition from Price..

Mate, I disagree with the Hornby thing, I don't see how having someone taking up $$ in the cutters would be any different to what happened last year...

As for Moltzen, okay he had a bad year last year but he was the best young player in the game in 2011 and will be a great player in the future.. That was a major signing and if things had of gone like they should have he would have made a big difference to our line up ...

I have heard these lines before:

Price should have share time at 7 with Kyle. He could have filled Fiens position, rotating with Rein and Kyle. This would have been the most sensible move.

Price had plenty of notice to recrit another fullback after Moltzen did his thing but did not. He could have also given Goodwin or Cummins a go instead of weaking each wing position by moving Morris and Nighingale to fullback.

In my opinion these are two of many examples of Price's poor judgement.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE - BELLAMY TO ANNOUCE HIS MOVE TO THE DRAGONS TODAY

Any idea what time? I've got a few meetings on today and want to hear the announcement first hand.

Highly Doubt it....media would have announced something.

Thank god we don't have timid Timmy Moltzen as we have Gerard Beale as our fullback,a much better player for me.

He did make some poor choices, I agree that neither players should have played at fullback... But I will stick by his recruitment, for last year and this... I think he has done a great job in this department...

Don't forget Moltzen gave us the run around for a long time before he did the dirty... Making us miss opportunities to sign others...

I think we will look back on Moltzen (even though a piece of crap dog) as a great player when he is finished ...
