~325k for a 19 year old prop is ridiculous money. We wont even see anywhere near close to his best years during the contract.

I don't think it's a bad signing but there's a lot of risk in signing up young props, I wouldn't be celebrating just yet. The name escapes me at the moment but the last time the Bulldogs were excited about a big bopper coming up through the 20's he ended up being a massive let down (Went to the Storm and I believe is back at the dogs now in Reserve Grade?)

He more than likely got similar offers elsewhere, and if Des Hasler and Wayne Bennett think you're worth that much, you must have something special, time will tell. I think you may be referring to Sione (John) Kite. Huge being, but I can't remember anyone ever getting overly excited about him

Yeh John Kite, that's the bloke. I never thought he was much tbh but there was definitely some hype amongst Bulldogs supporters.
