OT: ASADA and Drugs in NRL

Whose blaming the government?

I asked a fairly valid question! Darkest day in Australian sport? Only NRL implicated?

Did you somehow miss all the stuff re Essendon? Obviously, the Sydney media are going to focus more on the NRL and, frankly, the benefits of these types of substances are going to be greater in games where physical power is king.

Lets say this investigation 'conveniently' drags on till September/October. Players then come out and say 'yep, i made a mistake and will take the 6 month ban.' They then just miss the offseason and the first 3 or 4 rounds of 2014. Back playing before you know it

ASADA win, the drug cheats win and no one really gets punished too harshly

But Ings dashed any hope players may have of serving a ban in the off-season, saying the AFL tribunal would be compelled to follow World Anti-Doping Agency guidelines.

"The suspension has to be a period from playing footy, not a period of having a holiday," he said.

Maybe if he did (take performance enhancing drugs) he would've been a better coach? :sarcasm:

He actually had some performance enhancing drugs and was about to take them but he received a phone call from Hayne who called him from Coles to ask if he needed any carrots. In his confused state whilst on the phone he fed the performance enhancing drugs to his dog and accidentally locked himself in a cupboard.

It wasn't until Steve Kearney Jr came home from school that he was able to get out. By this stage he realised that he also hadn't put on any pants that morning.

So now Manly, Newcastle, Penrith etc are all clear. What happened to the 150 players who were going to be charged. This investigation has been a total ballsup. Amateur hour.
