Here are a few of the rules I lived by at Uni-
- If an assessment is worth less than 10%, don't bother.
- If you can't sit next to a hottie at a lecture - proceed to the bar
- If you can't understand the lecturer - proceed to the bar
- If you don't like the lecturer - proceed to the bar
- Assignment not ready when due? Miss Uni and fake illness.
- Group assignment? Make sure you get in a smart group. When the work is split up, make sure you pick the easiest bit, like the introduction or a summary or something. Anything you can do, by looking at eveyone else's work first.
- Driving past Uni is classified as attenting Uni, if anyone asks.
Make friends with a group of smart girls who are in your course and doing the same subjects as you. Girls are usually always easier to borrow stuff off / bludge course notes. They tend to feel sorry for you if you are underprepared and will help you out. And while I'm on this point-
- Don't ever buy a textbook for any subject ever. That is what the library and your friends are for. Borrow their books and photocopy anything you need.
- Always borrow someone else's study notes and copy.
If you have formed this friendship with the group of females mentioned above, you will have no problem with either of the last two points, ever.
It's been a while now since I was at Uni so I may have forgotten a few bits and pieces. If I remember more, I'll post them.
