You don't get weeks off for landing punches when squaring up, and Gallen will get a week for the swinging arm.

Few points, I think Myles was playing for the sin bin & I'm surprised Gallen didn't do 10 in the bin for it. Let's face it, this isn't origin as it was and it will never be the same again, the ref's have watered down the fighting spectacle of the game.

i'm embarrassed as a QLDer that there was no square up, if Gallen's allowed to put 3 on Myles without him retaliating & not go to the bin than im expecting QLD to come out and bash some NSW players for the same result. But honestly, they won the game & the fight. QLD were intimidated so kudos to Gallen for having the balls to do what he did, QLD are the ones at fault for not giving it back to them IMO.

My criticism of Meninga & the coaching staff would be over the years since 2006 alot of the aggression & mongrel has been coached out of the side. Compared to Bird, Gallen & Watmough we look like schoolboys.

Yep, doesn't matter how hard the punches were you can see he shocked him and had him hurt

By the end of it it looked like the only thing keeping him on his feet was the fact he was holding onto Lord Gallen.
