You can't deny Pearce's heart, he's just not made for Origin. Nothing personal against the bloke. He's a solid club player.
They also could have given him a consistent halves partner, he must have had about 6 in his 12 or so games.
I put a lot of blame on the coaches he has played under at Origin level, including Daley. Instead of placing pressure on him as the main man who has to do everything, he should have been given a few simple tasks and told to concentrate on doing those effectively and forget about trying to do everything himself. That way he may have proved somewhat useful rather than a millstone around our necks.
Wait, he was somehow both the main man f**king everything up, AND it was his fault that Farah was the main man taking wrong options because Pearce contributed nothing (someone claimed in another thread)?
Interdasting.
I really appreciate that Pearce played well today.
Everyone who said that shit about Pearce and Maloney only doing well because of SBW can eat it.
We have JWH and Boyd Cordner kicking arse too.
Name a time and place
Cliffy, Nathan Fien would look good at 7 in the present Roosters outfit.
I disagree with people suggesting he is a good club player. He looks good when the team plays well, but he himself is simply riding the wave. 2010 is anperfec example. 2013 is another perfect example. Players around him are firing, making his game look better than it is.
doesn't matter what Puss does at club level, he is shit at rep level
Stfu. You could say that about any winning team in the comp.
