Let's take back the scraps from the NRL!
We are losing the fight against the Wanderers and we can see the job he did at GWS!! How many games have they won?
If it is correct that he took the Club on for financial compensation he should not be re-employed.
Well said, but as Gary has said at least he will be soft and pliable.

Im sure he would have the ability, but why would he bother?

Just thought i'd throw up Wynn as a suggestion

I also dont mind someone like Brian Smith also who can not only manage the structure of the business as well as driving it, though he also has the knowledge of talking to players as well as managers, etc

He is well respected within the industry and is a tough character and you need that otherwise the media and players will walk all over you

Hill is not the right person for this role, lovely bloke though at this stage i dont think he would be ready

Not too long ago there were certain forum members urging everyone to dump their factions and get behind the club. Now those very same people have revved up the factions again and doing their best to white ant the current regime.

Just shows that they were never all that genuine about solidarity in the first place.

My choice would be Steve noyce but I do like sharps idea of it being a parramatta man, hilly is one of those, so is Tony Zappia, Gareth Holmes and Peter Wynn

 He is whistling a different tune this time around isn't he????

Well once upon a time the club would send a media release about the departure of a CEO and he'd be asking the question an hour later.. I'm just wondering what the delay is this time.

I'm sorry but why should our next CEO have to be a parra fan???

How about the best and most qualified person for the job???

Way to limit your talent pool, it's this sort of short sighted chook raffle mentality that is holding this club back. Sharp sounds like a dinosaur stuck in the 80's.

Whatever you thought of Kens plan to take us away from Parra stadium he had a plan, a plan to make us the biggest club in Sydney that we would outgrow Parra Stadium. He helped drive memberships to record levels but I really fear now we will have no plan and be stuck in the doldrums for a long time.

Grant Mayer?

Currently "interim" tigers CEO
Damaged goods now? He's a good operator but I think he's been involved with enough basket case clubs to run the Yogi Bear of all basket cases. Then again maybe the experience has helped him

Noyce wouldn't be my pick - been rissoled from too many clubs and doesn't appear strong enough.

I don't see why we need a Parra man, to me it is just severely limiting out options. I did think Edwards was a strong choice, but it hasn't worked out.

We need a very good CEO first and foremost, hopefully with a league background, but I take a proven performer with a sports background if need be.

Shane Richardson would my pick if we could convince him to leave Souths. Clubs he have headed all seem to find success and run smoothly. He may be ready for a change and a new challenge. He is pretty experienced and has experienced some challenging environments, sharks ( keeping them afloat) Souths (a lot of the politics that come with private ownership).

With the politics at the eels and our poor form I reckon we need someone with some serious experience (in nrl club land) not someone from another sport/field or an administrator looking for a promotion.

We need some way that is strong enough to stand up to the board in a way that does not rub them up the wrong way.

This is spot on.

Richardson would be a great option. Getting him to leave Souths would be tough though.

I think we limit ourselves if we just settle for the same people from NRL club land. Why not cast the net wide and see who responds? There could be some very impressive characters out there who could offer us an enormous amount.
