I agree with magpie4ever that slater is the best fullback in the world. No doubt Inglis is close to him but has Inglis knocked slater out of the qld and the Aussie number 1 jerseys? Last year Souths did well and then fell at the last hurdle this year they have an improved forward pack and their halves are firing. The backs are also improved as well. Inglis is a better player than Slater these days. Easily so. Just happens that Slater is good enough to maintain his incumbency for Queensland and Australia, and Inglis was playing centre until last year, so it's a fairly easy decision to keep him there.

Aside from Melbourne, who the Warriors seem to have the number of, id back all the other 3 to dispatch the Warriors without much fuss when the business end of the year rolls around.

The Raiders have beaten Melbourne, Roosters and should have the chance to kick to push Manly to GP... we've shown we can compete with the top sides (Souths excluded who seemingly give us a kicking like it's their favourite past time, but we're due, right?!!)

None of that changes the fact i would not be remotely confident playing any of the top 4 sides in a semi final. I expect every single one of those top 4 sides to lift to a level beyond what the rest are able to produce come finals time.
