Testify. The light turns green and everyone gets out of their cars and has a festival to sing 'kumbayah' about it before deciding what it means and actually moving off.

I actually got sick of waiting once, turned around, went home to print out an invitation to move when the lights were green for them, discovered that my printer was out of ink, headed out to a JB hifi to get a new cartridge, back home for a cuppa, printed out the invitation, then went back to the same intersection to hand said invitation to move to the driver when I realised that they had set up a tent city due to the fact that confusion reigned because none of them knew what the green light meant.

I find this hard to believe.

My sister refused to get in the car with me when I drove around Sydney. She doesn't understand how aggressive you have to be there.

Was thinking the same earlier.

BTW, Melbourne traffic sucks balls. Everyone complains Sydney is bad, but for a planned city, Melbourne is hopeless when it comes to traffic flow.

What makes it worse is they have a better freeway system than Sydney aswell.

Sydney roads are a joke. Infant, all roads in Australia are. Not to mention the drivers here are absolutely hopeless and pathetic.

My biggest gripe with traffic in Melbourne was the damn taxis. If they have a passenger you can guarantee they will do 80 in a 100 zone down the Tulla.

But I've found cars will move out the way when they see a B Double coming up behind them.

Not really aggressive, just decisive.

Don't muck about, be clear with your indicators and follow through with it.

I agree more with SMBN - less aggressive and more decisive. You do get dickheads who are just reckless, but even they have a better understanding of traffic flow; they just make dangerous decisions.

Agree 10000%. If the M5 was as well designed as the road from Tullamarine to Melbourne, there'd be no reason for a train line.
