The board has made a decision now on a replacement, notified the potential replacement ( who agrees in principle) to take the role and the moment sticky says he's out of here, a contract is negotiated and drawn up within 48 hours of Stuart's decision followed by a press conference where he's unveiled straight away..

This would be a perfect scenario under the circumstances.

usually I'd say that for someone to exercise a get out clause and get a payout is ludicrous but nothing would surprise me when a desperate Eels board is signing contracts .
