ryan hall & josh charnley piss all over your wingers...and if McNamara picks the right bench you'll get steamrolled....that aussie bench is the weakest i can remember...compare it with the bench for the wembley game in 2011 (cronk, galloway, shillo, tony williams) this bench is shocking

It's not about not supporting your country dumb arse. People, rightly, disagree with some of the selections made.

I guarantee that even if Michelle Pearce and Nathan Merritt were in the team, Australians would support them.

Pretty cocky for a supporter who just watched his bunch succumb to the lowly Italians....

This game won't be decided by your bench.

Tim Sheens is a clueless idiot. GI is the best fullback in the world and DCE is the best halfback in the world. One isn't playing in his right position, the other isn't even in the team.

The sad thing (for international rl) is we'll still win by 20.

haha ryan hall might be a big name over there but everytime he's come up against australian wingers he gets owned. infact all the players do. even tomkins. they lost to italy ffs. young charnley is in for a big lesson on saturday, at least he will be able to learn from it and go better against new zealand. boyd and inglis' combo is just too strong.

and the bench? one of the best props this year, the second best hooker in the comp and 2 incredibly talented, experienced and top-class backrowers.. yeah so weak! the only thing going for england's bench will be george burgess but remember we have fifita too. no comparison.

yeah that's why people are saying they want australia to lose and they're going for england and england will win now. what great support! i can just see the support oozing out of this thread....

of course people are going to disagree with selections, it's one thing to disagree but to carry on like some are on here over a few selections in game 1 of a massive tournament is embarrassing.

Our bench is actually one of our biggest strengths. Plenty of x factor with Parker's strong hitups and offloading ability, along with Lewis' footwork and hole running. Fifita's one of the best props in the game also.

it'd take a 2 hour video to capture all the tries against hall and england's edges in general, of course a winger is going to score the odd try against australia on the back of passes.. i don't even know why you even showed that video haha is that your proof that hall is better than the australian wingers at rep level or something? i think it's kind of cute how england fans celebrate a single hall try when australia's wingers do that over and over and over lol.

Hall is easily one of the best wingers in the game, anyone who says otherwise is either just talking trash, or has no idea what a good winger looks like.

What the hell are you smoking? Cronk is a specialist halfback and a terrible choice to have on the bench (and i'm a storm fan). I wouldn't pick Farah on this team but he's at least as good an option as Cronk.

Fifita on his form this year sh*ts all over Galloway even in his best form, it's not even a contest. If you're questioning his current form you must not have seen him play much.

Tony Williams? Probably the laziest player in the NRL, he is a nuffy and has been shown up badly. If he dominates at the International level it probably says more about the opposition. Until he shows a bit of heart he shouldn't be anywhere near a test jersey.

As for Shillo i don't think he's really all that special. Having someone like Parker is hardly a step down. I think this bench is definitely better than the one you list.

Edit: I haven't seen enough of either Hall or Charnley to say for sure but imo Hayne is still comfortably the best winger in the world. In origin he looks like the best player on the field even when he's stuck out on the wing.

I'd probably take Morris as well but i'd want to see more of the English fellas before making a judgement.

Agree about hall but charnley is nowhere near the level of a Brett Morris and our best wing option is hayne who isn't even playing. Charnley is a good young player but has plenty to prove. Our bench is fine, we could swap our utility (farah) for another big guy but other than that the players on it are much better than the previous bench that you mentioned.

Apart from Morris over Hayne and the inclusion of two utilities on the bench, its not too bad a side.

I would love to see the reaction of tim sheen when this side loses to england i mean its not a bad side but its missing some speed and playmakers how much could hayne and jennings make cooper and cameron job easier when both hayne and jennings can create their own plays and make the englands defence confused as to who to mark the most with this team all the england need to do is shut down thurston and cameron and rest of the kangaroos side would fail

and his 2nd try was just as good with boyd climbing all over his back and still carried him over...

That was a great try.
His 2nd try was good too, although Luke Lewis was opposite him due to injury. Not quite a noted winger at that stage if his career.
Lewis then went on to score down his wing (wasn't entirely Hall's fault) and he allowed Inglis a saloon passage by not following his centre in to cut off the play. So that's 2 all down his side.
He is a great winger but you have an over inflated opinion of his talents.
