They still have M.Wrong on the books too, as well as Stapleton.

Sure they aren't great, but they would be no worse than a 33 year old bloke who has barely played in 4 years

Bradford Bulls have agreed to release hooker Heath L'Estrange despite him having a year left on his contract.

The 28-year-old asked to have his contract cancelled to raise his newborn daughter in his native Australia

He joined the Bulls from NRL side Manly before the 2010 season and made 91 appearances for the Odsal side.

"I have had an absolutely amazing time with the Bulls and I have played alongside some fantastic players," he said.

"I have made lifelong friends and I was honoured to be named captain before the 2012 season.

"But I am part of a very close-knit family and we wish to bring up our daughter in Australia, around those closest to us."

My first thought was the Cowboys (very good mates with Glenn Hall), but you never know.

I reckon he will be handy for us. Could be a Jeff Robson type of signing. Good defender and smart player but just hasn't been able to get enough game time to show what he's capable of. Has a big chance of cementing the 7 jersey at Parra with Kelly and Sandow failing to really take a firm hold of the position.

If you think a good coach made the difference with Robson there's no reason Foran couldn't do as well. Toovey embarrassed with riches or Arthur a better coach? Maybe Bellamy didn't see enough of him and his career has really been out of sight, out of mind
