Australia v Wales 1975

I am trying to locate TV footage of the Australia v Wales game from the Rugby League World Championships in 1975. The game took place on the 14th June 1975 at Sydney Cricket Ground. The reason I am looking for this particular footage (as well as any other footage of that Wales tour including New Zealand) is because my father played in that game.

Any help or advice in tracking down this footage or any other footage of games that Wales played while in Australia that summer would be very much welcomed. I did post on the international section but had no responses.

David I'd try contacting a few people on twitter first.

Such as shaun fagan ( rl1908) or David Middleton .

Also try Ian Heads , doubt he's on twitter but he's regarded as one of the great rugby league historians.

Also Ian Collis & Alan Whiticker .

The only footage I know was on the That's Rugby League docco in 1995.
It was about a 10 second clip.

Try the ABC, they have heaps of stuff even if they never showed the most of it.

Hit up the BBC too, they have massive archives. And as was said above, try those Rugby League journos/historians.

ParraEelsNRL - I tried both ABC and BBC and neither have any footage in their archives, I have managed to get all of the other games with the exception of this one.

I stumbled across this footage of the Australia and New Zealand games in Wales later that year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdCpuVJ3a0M on Youtube shortly before the World Cup started, maybe someone somewhere has the footage from the Syndey game?

I have 55 mins of it on DVD - there is the VT counter on the top but it does not spoil the footage. Its the ABC coverage.
