    Williamson had a great preseason. He started behind Blair and Leilua in the pecking order because of his absense from training after Christmas, but have been told from a reliable friend that Smith sees him as a chance to play FG in round one on the back of two very strong trial matches.

    Barba loves to run the ball hates to tackle. Only player I've ever seen side step while defending.

    I would have Simons and Williamson in the centers. Both players run good lines and Williamson in particular can bend a defencive line. Both Pearce and Carney will have a lot better options outside them with these guys then our halves had this year.

    The Roosters management must think Jake has nothing to answer to with the pending case against him for them to extend his contract before his case is heard. it's great news as he's going to be a very good player for us in the comming seasons.
