    I think you will find that the NRL are going to sell the rights piece meal. Origin will be a package, Tests another. Super Saturday, so on and so on. They won't want one broadcaster holding all the cards. I think this will be better for the game as there will be heaps more money and competition...

    Any organizing committee (two blokes) talking about a "scheme" that will finance the club but they can't release details yet, should be avoided at all costs. Gold Coast set the bench mark on how to be successful anything else will be a pipe dream at best.

    The way the networks are going at the moment they will only worry about looking after the areas where the most money can be made. Unfortunately the states you mentioned are not going to be high priority.
