Souths Can Have Russell Crowe .. we have >>>

Its not Sam Jackson or Eddie Murphy or wacko Jacko We've named him Seal, coz without sunnies and kangol he looks exactly like the British singer. He is a dead-set lunatic but massive Tigers fan. We met him at last year's match at Shark Park and again this year, the bloke is a good luck charm.

    Shannon McDonnell

That kind of money didn't help Albert Hopoate? Ppl are getting over excited about Hoffman, there wouldn't be a spot for him at the Tigers right now. The guy wasn't flash hot back then and Melbourne offered him the cash.

What do people think of the new official forum??

I wrote dickhead and had a post deleted. Oh well. Everyone is over there now. And at least we don't get dickheads from other clubs stirring up trouble ie nospam49.

Stop jumping to conclusions...its only 200K.

Oh God you Roosters fans, stop trying to justify stupid ideas from your club. Just agree that its a bad idea and move on.

    Rich boys crying poor

http://foxsports.news.com.au/story/0,8659,10561869-23209,00.html They are kidding right? If the Roosters even think they can propose such a thing, they almost deserve some of the flack they cop. 1. What of the Roosters players who don't live in the Eastern Suburbs? 2. What about all...

    Side for Cowboys

I think Gibbs might get downgraded, but not off. Good to see Galea at 5/8th. I want to see how he goes with more game time there. Beuttner had very little in attack last week. I'm not too confident about moving Patto to the front row tho. Personally I'd have Laffranchi there and Bronson...

    Our biggest advantage

I find it so strange that our biggest advantage right now is our points differential. Its amazing that after back-to-back arse kickings this season, our for-and-against is what is giving us such a good chance of making the 8. Good on the boys for not packing in after a few setbacks!

    Final 8 = simple equation

If he goes for the Sharkies he's kidding himself... 1. We've beaten them already this year, last year too. 2. Them making the finals is much tougher than for us. 3. They lost to Parramatta this season.

    Final 8 = simple equation

The only scare is if we lose heavily to one team and Raiders smash Souths. That would require a 40+ point loss and a Raiders 40+ points win. Otherwise we cannot be pushed out of the 8 if we defeat Cowgirls this wkend.

    Charges- Satts and Gibbs

They will contest both rest assured. Gibbs does not deserve 5 weeks for a shoulder charge. Maybe 2-3 for a late hit.

    Final 8 = simple equation

There are 3 chances - Cowgirls, Tigers, Sharks. If we defeat only Cowgirls, we are in the 8 (8th position). If we defeat only Knights, we rely on results going our way: - if Sharks beat both Melbourne and Cowgirls we are out - if Sharks win 1 we are in. So funnily enough if...

    Gibbs

I think Gibbsie was hard done-by. His two penalties: 1. "Late hit" on McGuire: I think the shot was just a touch late. But the point of contact was the shoulder. At the same time, McGuire was sliding downwards in motion. Gibbsie pretty much put on a shoulder charge on the kicker, if a bit...

    Patto

I don't rate Patto, he's had far too few good moments. Its a unfortunate situation atm because Skando coming back would mean Patto relegated. But with Elford out, the spot is back up. I'd like the favour of Patto's gods!

Only one word to describe it:

I think the rule needs to be re-clarified. When introduced it was a very definite rule, where refs were instructed to defn award a try if in doubt. But its become a very grey area lately.

    Senter's "try"

It wasn't a double-movement because he didn't advance the ball to score after being tackled. I'm fairly certain you cannot perform a double-movement inside the in-goal. When tackled in the in-goal you are allowed to perform movements to force the ball down. Many many tries have been awarded...
