    We were diabolical on the weekend, no doubt about it. But the Tigers were very ordinary themselves. I am expecting a vastly improved attitude in defence this week, if nothing else. Great to see JR not stand for some of the substandard shit that was dished up by dropping a couple.

    In sad news… Tyler Cuthbert has torn his Patella tendon at training. Season over and I’d suggest Eels tenure gone via injury. Have to feel for the kid. He’s been riddled with serious injuries since coming down.

    I liked what I saw from Sam Tuivati on debut. Had to go off for a head knock but 5 runs, 50m or so and 12 tackles in 19 mins.

    Loved watching him in the trials. He’s ready for first grade. Well done to El Commandante Ryles by rewarding him for his excellent showing. He seems to offer everything gReed does but without the ridiculous carry on. At a fraction of the price too.
