    Not sure what the deal with Hyphen is these days. When he wants to, he can be a superb defender in this league. When his mind isn't in the game, he's decidedly average. Now is the time he should be stepping up and taking a leadership role in the team, but his interest doesn't seem to be there.

    Just shows that you have to take every chance that comes to you, Ryan wouldn't have even started a match last season if it wasn't for Vanstratten getting a season ender right at the beginning of the season. Ryan stepped into the gap and really made the position his own.

    Scrappy wins, crappy wins, I'll take 'em all. Such a disappointment that only 8.5k turned up on what really was a beautiful day in Sydney. Nice to get a bit of momentum rolling into the big game on Thursday, come on Sydney!

    You are spot on, Steve Smith is nowhere near close to being international quality. There should be a requirement for all International T20 matches to be played wearing ODI uniforms from the past of whichever team is playing. Then they could sell them as merch to the fans.

    I think most people were fairly well hydrated, it was a unique thing to see beer being served in cans at a football ground. Not something you see every day. I'm assuming it is because people in Campbelltown don't know how to use cups? :P

    It may well be possible to speculate that one team or another is playing the best at any given time but to attempt to rank them on a scale with points etc is nonsensical. I'm not against people saying a team is the best going around, but doing it because of a phony ranking scale is just stupid...

    Yeah I was in the Cove. The allocated Cove seating was behind the goal (in a taped off area) but it was pretty poor location so we all just moved into the corner, although it was pretty damn roasty.
