    Perth Bears

IMO only, the red, black, and white logos look sharp and cohesive, nailing a strong design and marketing vibe. The yellow-outlined ones feel a bit too cluttered, losing some impact.

Keiran Dempsey for Perth Bears recruitment and Pathways. Currently holds that position for the Melbourne Storm, not to mention he was North Sydneys last ever coach for the 1999 season.

I hope we don't go after Wishart. He's a great 14, but was awful leading the Storm around against the Dragons a few weeks ago when Hughes was out. The conditions were wet and the attack was poor from both teams, but it wasnt the first time his been just average in the main jumper.

    Bears Confirmed & Rumoured Signings

Croft is a fringe first grader. Need one half with proven NRL experience and then a younger emerging player such as Jaxon Purdue (21 in 2027). Just not sure who that experienced half would be? Alternatively, match Purdue with Jamie Humphreys (25 in 2027) which will allow more funds towards an...

    Bears Confirmed & Rumoured Signings

Keep an eye on Jaxon Purdue at the Cowboys. Played all his pre-NRL football in the halves, had occasional stints at Fullback and been starting at centre recently. Will only be 21 in 2027 which provides some youth to the squad, as well as flexibilty. Experience will en extremely important...

I'd suggest that all clubs would be feeders initially given the limited number of local teams. Training ground will only be temporary until the facility at Malaga is built. The Force train at HBF, so I'd suggest The Bears will do the same and could occasionally do runs at Charles Riley...

Is it a requirement to wear a footy jersey to partake in the festivities The Shoe? I might be late getting there from the office without time to slip one on.

I'll be there mate. Let's hope it's a good turn out to demonstrate the support this team is going to garner.

Congrats mate and great work. Any inside word on the preferred locality name, Western or Perth. Really hope it's the latter since rugby already have the Western Force.

    Perth Bears

I like Perth as a primary option. Western could be west of anywhere. Not to mention the Wests Tigers who are in fact to the East of Parramatta and Penrith, who would themselves be East of the Western Bears lol. How about Westralia? That might bode well with any sucessionists. It's all too...

It would want to be a decent makeover, Ken Allen Field is a very underwhelming facility.

How about something very unique like Westralia Although it does bring the West element back into it. Kind of resonates with the WA secession movement that could generate a sense of unity and an own team identity to counteract the Bears involvement.
