    They own the land and the stadium and the surrounding infrastructure on the total footprint. Which is around 70,000m2 in the Melbourne CBD. Melbourne CBD development sites go for $16,000-$35,000 per m2. It's worth $1.2B+ as an absolute minimum, that's just for the residual land value alone.

    Pretty much any contract at the moment is irrelevant under Australian Contract Law. Corona Virus = 'Force Majeure Event' = Tear up any contract without consequence.
