    2024 Ground Allocations

That’s a great idea Shane F. Provides an equal allocation of games between Kogarah and Wollongong, either 6/6 or 5/5, and helps get the Dragons brand out into the regional areas. Simples.

    2024 Ground Allocations

The closeness of Kogarah to the SFS does not address the need for a 50/50 split of games between Kogarah and Wollongong. I’m sure Wollongong based supporters would not be too happy if they only had 5 games whilst Kogarah received 6 every year the Anzac Day game was a home game.

    2024 Ground Allocations

Maybe RedVee, but I place a high value on watching games at Kogarah, no doubt like Wollongong based fans value games played at WIN Stadium. I’m just frustrated that for three years in a row Kogarah has drawn the short straw. I probably wouldn’t be as wound up on the issue if the Dragons were...

    2024 Ground Allocations

Looks like someone at the Dragons is tuned into this forum. The club have now corrected the error on the website and reduced the number of games you get in the Wollongong Pass from 7 down to 6. It’s still very annoying that in 2024 there will yet again be less games at Kogarah than at...

    2024 Ground Allocations

Thanks Parko. It certainly appears something is amiss on the website or maybe I’m just interpreting it all wrong. Currently the Kogarah Pass + Anzac Day Game says: Immerse yourself in the electric atmosphere at all 5 NRL home games at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, Kogarah and secure your seat for...

    2024 Ground Allocations

Today I received the annual email from the Dragons about renewing my 2024 membership. Two matters leap out at from this email. Firstly, the email states that in 2024 Kogarah is allocated 5 games, Wollongong 7 games, plus the Anzac Day game at Allianz Stadium is a Dragons home game this year...

    Red V Members venue change.

I may be the only member who would like to see this but with only 5 games allocated to Kogarah in both 2022 and 2023 I wonder if the club will make it up to the Kogarah ticket holders and allocate 7 games to Kogarah in 2024 and 2025.

    Red V Podcast

Thanks Jack your Podcasts are a welcome listen to each week, especially during the off-season. The ongoing discussion about whether Griffin will change his tactics for 2023 is one of the most defining issues for how well we will or won’t play. No change in what he has done to date will no doubt...

    Red V Members venue change.

Agree Willow. Would hope the club have some further more detailed communications to the fans in the next 24hours. Apparently they are considering a refund and will then offer the extra WIN game to Dragons ticket holders. If this is the case I would hope their is an initial offering to the...

    Red V Members venue change.

A call to the Club today revealed they were apparently “blindsided” by the NRL draw. If this is true I call very poor management on the NRL’s behalf. Would love to know when the the ground usage for the FIFA 2023 Womens World Cup was first announced ie. how long have we known this was a likely...

    Refereeing inconsistencies

Spot on BLM01. The footage shows Doueihi deliberately try and wind the clock down, which he is entitled to do. He waits till the clock is stopped before he looks to commence his run up. Here is the big question for me. The clock did not restart when he started his run up but when he actually...

    Hook’s Days Numbered?

Yes Puff your spot on we are currently not a great organisation. That’s been the painful reality for us Dragons supporters for way too long. If we are to turn things around, getting a fantastic coach is an essential piece of the puzzle.

    Hook’s Days Numbered?

DD and others are so right. Whenever we next go in search of a new coach we need to pursue them relentlessly. Great organisations get their man or women - they don’t take second best and they don’t miss. I’ve mentioned it before that my preference would be to pursue Fred Fittler, a modern...

A Huge Positive Amongst the Doom and Gloom

These are examples of decisions by Hook that are the polar opposite to those needed to turn our club culture around. We need the decision makers in the Club, the Board, CEO, and Coaching Group, to all have the same mindset and as a united group make decisions that clearly show the players and...

    Sack Griffin

Gee I want so much to believe Hook and Co can develop some heart and grit in our team but that looks more questionable as each game goes by. Personally I would be sounding out Brad Fittler for 2023. He has matured significantly since his last first grade coaching gig and now brings a true...
