you don't want to know.

You're adamant that they do.

If they came out and said they don't use tip sheets, you'd say "bullshit"

And if they came out and admitted they do use tip sheets, would that validate my argument?

Chook.

Can't I adamantly guess? You need to get over yourself and realise most posts on this forum are people guessing.
the very notion is a contradiction. Ignore any other factors that are just as, if not more plausabile and hang everything on a guess.

Of course I'm going to defend my adamant guesses, wouldn't you?
I'm not making guesses.

And yet you continue to reply. You need to blame yourself for that.

Chook.

I need to blame myself for pointing out that your argument is contradictory?

okie dokie then

bad unit!

Didnt Harrigan confirm when he was in charge of the refs that tips sheets are used?

And I'm not saying they aren't used. I'm pointing out that Chook is certain that tip sheets are used but at the same he admits he is making a guess that they are being used.

Its one or the other chook.

The facts are that for the period 2008 to 2013 the Roosters have been one of the most penalised sides, yet at the same time received the fewest penalties. The trend is continuing this year. The fact they have made 2 GFs in that time is nothing short of remarkable. Although a "guess", I think its reasonable to assume that the refs are acting on 'preconceived" notions that the Roosters are ill disciplined (which to a degree I would agree with) and at the same time allowing the opposition latitude that the Roosters are not generally afforded.

Can anyone offer an explanation why the above appears the opposite for the Sharks??

Tips sheets are definitely used right down to the players.

It becomes so obvious when a player comes straight off the bench for the first time in a match and is instantly spot targeted with a call from the ref like "X play it with our foot" or "X keep your hand off the ball".

Are you really this dense or are you purposely missing the point?

As I've explained a number of times, I am referring to the long term trend of us receiving fewer and at the same time conceeding more penalties than other sides as the basis of my belief refs use tips sheets. Am I certain they use them, no, but it's what I choose to believe as nothing else can attribute to that long term trend.

Is that simple enough for you unit?

Chook.

If you want to count up the penatlties awarded, start with the Roosters
It's easy to count to 0

Good to see the referees are consistent in not letting the Dogs win a penalty count. We almost racked up another draw until the stupid one at the end
