This looks promising for once.
It seems after the USARL rejected the AMNRL so bluntly at negotiations last year they're starting to get their act together.

Also interesting, the RFL are involved.
While not a huge investment (access to resources rather than real financial backing) it will be intersting to see if anything's made of the fact Leeds have aligned with a USARL club and the RFL have given the AMNRL access to coaching programs.

Not sure, seems to be just an open source, not sure how it will develop the sport as a whole. Better, competition and players maybe, but in terms of USARL/AMNRL don't see how this could be much of a help.

The article sure has a lot of quotes with many people congratulating each other for their outstanding efforts and overall professionalism. If I'm reading into this correctly, the RLF has allowed the AMNRL to use their online coaching recourses and clinics. It will be interesting to see if this is in the form of a link or actually something substantial.

Interesting that Steve Johnson continues to remain involved after been outed in Macord's article that most AMNRL domestic players want nothing to do with him. It's seems pretty clear that he's keep the ship afloat from half way across the world.

Any word when their schedule will be released?

Agree with the others. This isn't really is some grand step forward. A show of good faith, possibly, but the AMNRL has other/more pressing issues to handle right now I would think.

AYRLA got heaps of coaching materials in dvd and paper format sent to us back in 2011 which we have been using, manipulating and passing out to coaches, gym teachers in addition to other usarl clubs.

LOL.... MATE CHECK THIS OUT... The rules for 'flag' rugby league (middle school and youth clinics / boys and girls clinics, is a page long with 8 bullet points in size 22 font.

For high school its 12 bullet points size 16 font.

we tossed a few rules that in our opinion are pointless and confusing when trying to teach kids the game --- and referee's. (Basically restarts from penalties and out of bounds).
