DRAGONS team vs raiders

The Canberra weather forecast for todays match is cold and shitty, with a pissy rain front arriving by about 3pm.

Canberra may be able to boast about firecrackers, pornography, and the War Memorial, but that's about all. No wonder team morale is in the toilet. I mean, really, who would want to live there? And while I have little confidence in our current coach, at least he's not Ricky Stuart.

The Dragons will add to the Raiders list of woes today, and run away with this one.

Dragons by 12+

I live here ...like, on purpose !

Help me Obi won Capital Dragon ... your the only hope I got

(btw crackers are banned now - so I guess that just leaves the porn).

There's Batemans Bay, the Hollowmen and Summernats too.

I'm happy to cop a ticket as long as the Dragons win.

Yep ...me too !

the best thing about he federal highway is kogarah oval is at the other end.

My son arrives soon - and we're off to the game. Bruce Stadium is almost walking distance.

GO DRAGONS !!

Man, I was nervous, missed the 1st half and start of 2nd half we were not too flash. Great to beat that stupid hoodoo, get 2 points and improve for and against. Yes raiders are last, FFS we still made it look tough until last 12 minutes...
Sorry to say, Widdop needs to practice kicks from sideline 8 points missed / we can't afford that in modern game.

That shows me we are about right on the table. Better than the bottom teams but a step below the top.
I liked Beale at back and Dugan seems to want and perform well in the center. Benii is growing into the 7 we need. Our wingers are second to none. Peter M had a fantastic game and may go a long way to playing regularly. I think we are one big meter eater and one big offloader short up front. Going to go out on a limb and state that I thinl Rein is improving rapidly and I hope he will be our 9 for a long time. Frizell makes a big difference too.

Frizell solid, with metre eating hitups. Peter M needs to play more, I saw him at Charity Shield and thought man, has explosive power close to the line....Price ignored him for rest of the season though.
Was it just me, and to be honest missed the 1st half, but was Merrin quiet again???

Frizzell played well saved a try with a great takle changed the momentum of the game. JDB has stepped up the last few weeks.
Hopefully with Frizzell back we don't see 80 mins of Ah mau again.

o Our season was in trouble when Frizzell was injured, Frizz/Creagh/Merrin are virtually requirements for our forward packs. We missed Creaghs speed tonight.

o However it was a months worth of early and ill-directed halves options (mostly kicks) that cost us our birth in the finals, thankfully not too many today, though was a few houdini efforts required which is not ideal (luck gets involved), plus Widdop had to kick every goal from the sideline and hes not kicking that well at the best of times.

o Kyle really needs to retire, I dont know what Mary has seen in him

o Overall its hard to pick anyone out, they all players fairly well, Mata'utai went ok about what id expect (the quick pass was a bonus), Beale is nothing special at fullback but we knew that from last year, it doesnt really matter to me who they want to play @1, but whoever is going to be there in 2015, needs to get their gametime now.

Pick Obrien next game for experience at least. Say goodbye early to Harrison & Stanley.
