Wests Tigers have today announced that Phil Moss will be joining the Club as General Manager of Football Operations, with Jason Taylor appointed as NRL Head Coach.

Moss will take on the newly created General Manager of Football Operations role, having most recently held a similar position at the Penrith Panthers. Moss also spent eight years at the Parramatta Eels with his most recent position as Chief Operating Officer.

Two ex eels reunited at the Tigers.

Obviously Phil is not still running his Optometrists in Wenthworthville.

Will inherit all the good work Potter has done, I wonder if Mick Hagan will say something if JT does well next year?

JT has a great footy brain. That's 25% of what makes a great coach. Time will tell if his player management is up to speed.

Good on him anyway, he deserves the gig.

Totally agree. He's got the smarts but it's his player management that he would of had to improve dramatically on. That's why I preferred BA, well balanced coach!!
