To funny, 2 horses I'd backed using my beteasy account and mrs ones.

Bande and Dandino were both scratched.

Luckily they were kind enough to give me another roll of the dice, anyone got any recommendations?

I don't mind ole mate Moriarty to run a cheeky race at odds, old fella normally puts up a good effort, pretty consistent thereabouts type of horse.

I've taken Moriarty and Rising Romance. Already backed Whoshotthebarman a while ago.

Would have backed Moody's pair but missed the very, very juicy odds. Should have been all over them earlier in the week.

Lucia Valentina is weighted to win and is probably the best Aussie hope, query on her getting the distance and will probably be unders.

I've already loaded up on the jap horses at juicy odds at the start of the spring.
I Am cursed pre race betting on the Caulfield Cup :(

Not as bad as Maldivian getting scratched at the barriers at 80-1 at least.

The Offer is overs even though it's being backed in. Run in the Turnbull was great, no cover came from well back and nothing ran past it still running hard past the post over 2000m Absolutely loves the step up in distance. Still at $26/$7.50. EW no brainer.

The Offer has health issues and its trainer is too arrogant to spell it for the Spring..

Had a great day on the punt for a change, smashed the jap horses in both cups at the start of the spring so nice collect for the win.

Had the first 4 for 25%, plus a few other decent trifecta's throughout the day. Spewing i only got half the win for Bel Sprinter i would have had the cash to put more into the cup. Awesome to have a bank going into the cox plate and Cup week

He should get at least a kilo or a kilo and a half for that soft arrogant win.

I've been telling everyone the Japanese stayers are the best in the world, MacDonald couldn't have ridden Rising Romance any better while it was a big run for 3rd by the favourite Hackavoy did his best to cost me the first 4.

Oh and HT while slightly pissed i am home safe and sound and are leaving the Cannington dogs and the casino alone tonight.

I backed three horses, Bande pre-post at big odds :x not forgetting he is supposed to be the better Jap horse.

The other two were Admire Rakti and Rising Romance, but I didn't take the quinella :fist: when RR shot clear I was cheering like a mofo then this thing started motoring down the middle.. I was shitting myself for about 2,3 seconds until I realised it was AR haha

God bless Lucky Hussler though, I was having a decent day but I smashed this bloke at 13s who turned it into an absolute cracker. I have backed it every start this prep and he has had no luck whatsoever and I almost sacked him, lucky I held on for one more start.

D Weir -> Gai Plodderhouse

Agghhhhhh think I'm still drunk what a day :alcho:

Minikato - Buffering. Underated Superstar. I like Bounding as a roughie

Cox Plate - Criterion. 2040m at Moonee Valley is like running 2400m anywhere else. 2040m at MV with the Cleaner in the race will need a horse who can stay. Tricky race.

Manikato - Platelet will swoop late on what looks like a solid tempo. Proven group 1 performer at ridiculous odds.

Cox Plate - Fawkner. Is really flying and this race will suit him to a tee. Did it easily last start and can't see any of them turning the tables as he'll be a lot fitter 3rd up. Gets a great run from the draw. Big watch on Adelaide too. Obrien wouldn't come all this way unless he was trying to make another expensive coolmoore stallion. Has great European/us form and could be one out of the box. Throw in sacred falls for third. Dunno about a fast run 2040 but if it sticks, will be zooming home at the end.
