If you cared to read or try and understand our rules, its about liability, nothing to do with accuracy, as the 3rd party link makes the claims, not LU, so therefore the risk/liability on on the 3rd party.

You dont generally get an explination You get a 1 liner and then a link to rules. Well this is my understanding as a new member I wouldn't know...

I would have thought a rumour by its very nature was unfounded. when a rumour is "founded" it stops being a rumour and becomes fact.
