it does look good, but when you see the reverse angle it seems that there is literally no one on the broadcasting side of ground

If the RLIF and ARLC are serious about growing the game in the respective countries, they should have played these tests in Port Moresby and Apia respectively. Sell-outs assured, publicity galore on the ground. This was just the cheap, logistically simple option.

I agree with the sentiment but I fear that niggling injuries would rule out 75% of the eligible players.

Average morning here, bit of drizzle in Paddo. Lets hope it racks off.

I hope people decide to attend after the fight.

must be wednesday night. No other sport on. Gives the game national attention with no competition.
Agreed, why would we want to change days when it is a ratings powerhouse on the weds night??? And worth so much to the TV deal.

Q-Clash only drew 12,464 so much for AFL taking over QLD lol. Broncos been top of the ladder should ramp things up marketing/advertising wise for the remaining home games and take this opportunity to leave the Lions in the dust. To think a decade ago, there was those who thought QLD become a AFL state in the other sports forum lol.
