Be nice if people in this joint can build a bridge and get over things now.

The way the club has operated over the last week has been very professional. Heads down, cop the flack but get the deal done. And they've done that, so credit where credit is due - combined with two wins on the trot we're heading into this round in a good place - and, it shows those demanding the club front the media and get on the front foot couldn't see past the next Fox News bulletin- because the only way possible to get on the front foot, was to lock in Foran.

Eels Confirm Foran Signing

The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have today confirmed the signing of Kieran Foran for the next two seasons, with an option for an additional two seasons.

Foran has reaffirmed his commitment to the Eels from 2016 and will commence with the club in November 2015 for pre-season training.

“Kieran has been very professional while the club worked through the process and I thank him for his approach,” said Eels Chairman Steve Sharp.

“I would also like to thank our Members and fans for their patience throughout this process with a good result for all achieved in the end.”

“It’s now time to move on and get back to focusing on football. Our Members and fans showed incredible support last Saturday night and we want to see them out in force on Monday night when we take on the Wests Tigers.”

+1. A win this week and we'll come out of the bye half way up (ish) the table and in a good mental place.

Time to move on and leave the cheap shots at the door.

Well said gents.

Hopefully the club has learnt from this and will continue to act as professionally as they have over the last week. Same goes for the agenda driven fans...

Hi, a rumour in UK that Luke Kelly is coming to SL in 2016. Is this true and which SL club is signing him and is he a good player?

Better then JT, only reason he can't get a start is because of second-tier issues.
Probably would have became the next dual Dally M winner if he got a start this year and stayed beyond.

Well said Fishman.

Did anyone catch the interview with Foran in tonight's news?

Two things to come out of it -

Foran seems to be a champion bloke with more integrity and honesty than many other players.
Secondly - he was always keen to come even with the drama. He had set himself up to play at Parra next year and that's that.

Right, so like some of us were saying, for all we knew Foran had no issue, and just had to wait for his manager to get the contract sorted out properly.
