Just the Cowboys 3rd loss at home this season, and the first loss by more than a try.

Roosters beat them 28-4 @ Townsville
Broncos beat them 44-22 @ Suncorp

Either a lot of penalty goals kicked & field goals kicked in those games or you're talking shit as usual.

If we play with that intensity every week we can win this thing again.

Very good win considering we had Sutton out for the majority and Inglis out for the critical last 10 minutes.

Think maybe Sutton & Stewart both out was the reason it was Souths best forward performance of the year?

Something to think about. When you play a forward, power based game like Souths picking two ball players on the edges is going to hinder that game plan.

Yeah I'm with ya. Wonder if Madge will consider it.

Thought the same, will give Madge something to think about.

We needed that win more than the Cows and it showed.

We are still a long way off the pace, and will be unlikely to win it this year.

All they can do is give ourselves a chance, and wins like this fit into that category.

Mate if you gift that much possession and penalties to a side that aren't pretenders you'll get your ass handed to you.

Very low quality game of footy filled with grubby fake tough guy crap and the Cowboys imploding

Very good point mate. We had a lot more go-forward with McQueen and Turner on the edges. I'd like to see Sutton at lock just roaming about. What to do about Stewart though...

Yeah because we ended up putting a whole load of pressure on them.

The game these days is all about pressure and when it's applied properly then you end up winning games.

Yes I am sure serviceable winger Aaron Gray has been so influential as to be the reason Souths have been getting sparked on the regular lately.
