Why dont they take these trials out to the bush? The goodwill gesture it creates is invaluable to the game and the clubs. Poor form IMO.

The Warriors pretty much always do that, they're in Whangarei this year and have done Hamilton, Tauranga and Rotorua in the past among other venues in provincial NZ.

Apart from things like the Auckland 9's, the All Stars and maybe the Charity Shield, all trials should be regional

Only way that would happen is if the nrl said to club to either take a trial to the bush or you take a home game
Bush would start getting more trials if that happened

Brisbane are playing a game in Bundaberg.

Aren't the Eels playing in Alice Springs?

And aren't there still plenty of trials TBA?
