This is probably my favourite of all time, but i can think of so many others that are right up there too.

I'll start with this one, hopefully you guys keep adding to it :)

Living Colour - Sunshine of your love. Vernon Reid on guitar is a god.

Fishbone's version of Sublime's Date Rape is great.

Shihad did a really good cover of Midnight Oils Kosciuszko on the Oils tribute album many moons ago

Agree with Living Colour and their version of Sunshine of your Love, I love it. Reid, Glover, Calhoun and Wimbish are all top shelf in their respective disciplines.

Dude! Awesome! I love Living Colour and I had no idea they covered this.

Vernon Reid is the most overlooked guitarist in terms of talent. It pisses me off when i never see him make any lists!

Dolly Parton- Shine (originally by Collective Soul)

This has got to be my favorite cover of all time to be honest. Dolly Parton is very, very good when it comes to picking and performing and arranging her cover songs. This video doesn't do the album version justice because its a bit shorter and leaves out some of the instrumentals and her vocals.

Her cover of Bon Jovi's "Lay Your Hands on Me" is phenomenal as well.

Two that stand out for mine:

Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower, and a throwback to my teenage years a little known metal band from Victoria called the Naked Heart did a cover of Kylie Minogue's Confide in Me, the singer was clearly a Korn fan.
