Some Parra fans are complete dickheads who cannot connect the dots. Instead of keeping a very low profile, Norman have been involved in a few little things that cannot be considered a good look for the club. The fact that the law were so light on him was a disgrace in itself. He should be stood down for the year so that he can fully appreciate how good he has it and the fact that it can be taken away with further bad choices. Getting him to just sit out a week (which Parra did not want him to do) would be doing him no favours for his long team health. This season is gone for Parra.....sit him out, get him some help and get ready for 2017

Most of what you say makes sense but I don't know how you think the law went light on him. You would be hard pressed to find any first drug offense on Corey's level that would have a conviction recorded

It doesn't really matter what happens now, Corey will let us down again and again because he has shown he is a complete ding dong, its only a matter of time before the next Corey incident happens because he has a pumpkin for a brain.

ffs... duh he needs to keep his nose clean, no shit.

But you make it sound like he's a fricken alco or drug addict..
Im not saying he is. But, connect the dots you f**king idiot. Do you honestly think he can keep going the way he is going with no consequences at all? This sort of behaviour catches up with everybody in some way in the end. He obviously needs some sort of assistance to straighten out his life.

I'm not disagreeing with you.

I never once said he should keep going the way he's going, but you lot are acting like he killed someone while high on cocaine or something.. a little perspective is all I'm talking about.

You are quickly reminding me of a typical pot smoker from Nimbin...."Hey maaaaan, hey maaaaan. Pot doesn't hurt no-one, look at me maaaan".

If he killed someone, he should be in jail. Seven weeks out of the game is not going to kill the bloke and it will teach him a lesson.

NORMAN TO BE HIT HARD

Corey Norman has returned to training with Parramatta after being stood down by the club after he pleaded guilty to drug offences in court last week.

However, Fox Sports’ chief NRL reporter says not to link his return to training with a return to the field, with the star playmaker set to face a ban that could extend to the end of the season.

Speaking on NRL Tonight, Hooper said he expected the NRL to take a “hard line” with Norman after several unsavoury incidents involving the Eels player this year.

“Obviously we know with Corey he was issued a warning for consorting with criminals at that Chinese dinner at Star City casino, the same night he was then found in possession of drugs he has since pleaded guilty to in a court of law,” Hooper said.

“Then of course we’ve got that video that’s got everyone behind the scenes talking about it.

“Certainly I think from an NRL point-of-view they believe enough is enough.

“ ... I don’t think we’ll see him again this season.”

However mystery still surrounds how the punishment will be handed down, with Norman still yet to front the NRL Integrity Unit, according to Hooper.

“Not quite sure exactly why Corey hasn’t fronted head office but as it sits at the moment there’s a little bit of a stand off going on.”

Not a pot smoker, I just don't have rigid views on the world.

Seven weeks out of the game won't kill him, that's exactly right, it might hurt his game and his confidence though, It's obvious some form of suspension is going to happen, I just don't think the remainder of the season is necessary, That's just my view.
