I heard a few results yesterday on ABC radio while watching the Warilla Gorillas battle with the Shellharbour Sharks in Group 7. As I have lived in a number of NSW towns it is always interesting to hear results from the country.
BTW Warilla - they play in Parra colours - won 20-19 in extra time and face Gerringong in the GF next week.:D

After a really close finals series, in Group 21, the Scone Thoroughbred defeated the Muswellbrook Rams 16-14 in the Grand Final. This is after they lost to Muswellbrook 18-16 in the Major Semi and defeated the Aberdeen Tigers 31-30 in the final. So in the last 3 games of the season there was a total of 5 points difference in the games.

North Tamworth Lions beat West Tamworth Lions 36-12 in Group 4 to win three consecutive premierships. Game had to be called off early ('bout ten to go in the second half) after about 5 Wests players were sent off.

Any news from Group 2 or the Canberra comp/former Group 8?
Canberras GF was won by West Belconnen beating the highly fancied Queanbeyan Kangaroos 26-24 with a late penalty goal.

The game was headed to extra time
( would have been 4 years in a row )

But a blatant shoulder charge that had to be penalised was ... & The warriors kicked the goal & won a very unlikely premiership.

Gerringong coached by Mick Cronin won group 7 this afternoon ......

BTW in the women's league Milton have only lost 2 games in 2 years .......both are grand finals. That would suck !!!!
