This Smith-Handscombe partnership is very crucial if Australia are to get 300+ here.

With M Marsh and Wade in next (both of whom are unreliable), followed by the tail (not to mention Renshaw off the field and in doubt to come back), the Australian batting lineup can easily capitulate here if they are not careful.
