Great to have our backline locked up. Te Maire Martin next. Every game his value would be going up. He must be one of the fastest halves in the game. Has great footwork and a solid frame for a guy with that sort of speed. He's like a blend of Keiran Foran and Shaun Johnson.

Perhaps but Hunt is going to want a similar contract somewhere else, that won't be easy.

But if he's prepared to play for less the storm system could make Hunt a superstar.

GIANT EYES NEW DEAL

Penrith man-mountain Viliame Kikau is on the verge of extending his contact with the Panthers by a further two seasons.

Having been crowned the RLPA’s NYC player of the year in 2015 and prop in the Holden Cup team of the year that same season, Kikau has long been touted as a real prospect.
The Panthers head-hunted Kikau from North Queensland and are in advance talks to keep the 21-year-old in Western Sydney until at least the end of 2019.

After joining the Panthers last season, the Fijian international made his NRL debut against Wests Tigers in round two and continues to impress.

Just this week Dallin Watene-Zelezniak re-signed on a three-year-deal.

More likely I think this means the end of Peachey at centre.

Long term it'll be Blake/Whare.

Mansour has been predicted to be gone twice now, he seems to love the place though.

Well done. Not even gonna try and guess what this means for the backline positions but obviously Whares got one. Peach into the super sub role? He'd be struggling to get a start in our backrow tbh. It kinda worries me how easily we just keep everyone lol

Mansour up in 2018.

That's one of only a handful of ways I can think about Edwards staying.

If we convince him that Mansour is done at end of 18' and he will get his deserved big pay day elsewhere and Edwards gets the wing spot.

Either that or the Tigers are making a big push to get TMM back...and means Moylan goes to Five-eight and Edwards to FB.
