oi R20 I think i have our rugby league historian Mr Madunit stumped on my question funnily enough the answer is quite simple i knew it many many decades ago hmmmm no response tonight R20 maybe he is doing a few phone calls,i know he wont live it down if i get him on this question...Shadow;)...

Curious as to the answer here.
I'm somewhat doubtful of the validity of the answer...

I'll say I don't know.

shadow has to get 40 winks:p...Shadow...ile give you a hint a passed international told me later on in 1983/1984 its ok if you have doubts but its true .

Nope. Tom Golden.

In 1909 he was with Souths and he was listed to play against Balmain in the final. When Balmain forfeited, Souths then lined up against a Combined First Grade side, however they were short a player, so Tom Golden lined up for them. Souths beat that combined side.

It is either Israel Folau or Karmichael Hunt!!????? If it's someone else I'll have to think harder.

What may stuff my answer is the International Rules[AFL] qualification as I don't believe either repped in the hybrid form of the game against Ireland!!
