I couldn't be bothered arguing over something so very very minor.

True, it was very minor, that was my whole point.

I couldn't understand what I said to set you off, and I still don't.

But situations like this are a perfect example of why you very rarely
see me post anytime on LU.

The tinest little comments are taken in completely the wrong way, and
arguments begin over seemingly nothing.

What has happened here has just reinforced that for me once again. More's the pity.

Peter Muller - Former South African Rugby Union Captain.

I remember the hype about him coming across to the Panthers when Super League started.

I don't think the guy ever made first grade.

I've never even heard of the guy, and he definitely never made it into any
1st grade side I've watched......super league or not

So I guess the question is ? .......Can he actually be classed as a Panther.

For me the answer would be .......no.

Does anyone else remember that guy ? #-o

Speaking of David Greene. Next time someone bumps into MG around the traps, ask him about the Fit Shingers he gave Greeny once at training. Apparently it took Greeny about a week to get the smell out of his moe.

I dont know how much truth there is to the story, but knowing MG and having visited his website, I tend to believe that he may have been the king of the deadleg and fit shingers.

I remember Pieter Muller, was heralded as one of our bigger buys for the 97 SuperLeague season and did absolutely JACK for us.

Here is a small story I found on him on the net today:

DONCASTER ANNOUNCE APOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR OF RUGBY

Doncaster Rugby Club’s new Director of Rugby is former Springbok centre Pieter Muller. Pieter, who has just turned 35, represented South Africa on 33 occasions including the 1999 World Cup. He has also appeared for the Barbarians 5 times. He spent the 1996 season with Australian Rugby League side Penrith Panthers and in 1997 had a season in France with Toulouse before returning to South Africa to play for Natal in the Super 12s tournament. Pieter joined Cardiff in 2000 and has played for them over 80 times.

After Rhino's story I STILL don't remember him.

Did he ever actually play a 1st grade game Rhino ?

I don't think he did but i wouldn't have a clue, i didn't support the Panthers back in 97' unfortunately.
