Gee rid Bolton is a slug, hardly surprised Taylor is talking her up.

Watching her Plod along reminds of Taylor chewing up ball after ball in his ODI career. The
Just like Tubby throws her wicket away after chewing up all them balls.

Only f**king Channel 9 would take live cricket off their HD channel with 9 overs to go in a tight chase for an episode of RBT.

After the ODI series, Aust 4 Poms 2

We win the only test match next week at NSO, we retain the ashes

Poms need to win the test and 2 out of 3 T20s to get them

Poms were 1/129 at one stage

looks like the "night" period of the d/n test strike again, we got a few wickets late

Talia McGrath, any relation to pigeon?

Watching now, it's amazing that pink ball swings an absolute mile in the hands of the 115-125 kph bowlers, even in broad daylight.

We should be considering Copeland or Sayers for Adelaide IMO.

Dont wanna sound sexist Timbo but Copeland has been tried and at that pace he got belted. The women only get 110-120k balls so thats all they know what to deal with, I really dont think it would work.

These 2 need to hang around for a bit, love to see Perry get another 30 runs and Heally is in the form of her life. Another 150 would be handy

Well, except that's not really true about Copeland. His three tests were on low, dead tracks in Sri Lanka where he went for ~1 an over and got no help in the air or off the deck.

In actual swinging and seaming conditions he's deadly.

Here's a thought - this kind of player may become a d/n test specialist. Just like how we play two spinners in Sydney or on the subcontinent, we may before long play a specialist medium pacer in d/n tests who can exploit the massive swing.

I remember back when Copes was playing and Junior commented, and he was a test selector back then, "Who would you rather be facing, Brett Lee at 150ks or Trent Copeland at 120ks. His thoughts were that Coplenad would never strike fear into any opening batsman and he was dropped soon after.

Also if he did bowl in the conditions you mention, what about in the mid afternoon on a highway that we seem to prepare a lot of nowdays, I cant see him being too threatening until dusk but the game could slip away by then.

The thing with 120k/h swing bowlers is if they can't get it to swing they become cannon fodder. Muhammad Amir couldn't get it to go last summer and he's a little bit better (and faster) than Copeland.

Timbos right , given the right conditions Copeland would be a massive handful (But so too is starc, and haze)

I rather Copeland bowl in the mid afternoon highway than Lee or a Johnson, they are known to spray it about particularly if the conditions don't suit them they leak massive runs, at least Copes would keep it tight and frustrate the batsman

Mark Waugh lol, ask the poms who they would they like to face in England, Lee has a woefull record there in 10 tests

UK ashes and D/N tests, Copeland would be brilliant IMO BUT we wont see it we have a good artillery of fast bowlers now.

Double hundred. 213* at the declaration. What an innings...what a way to get your first international hundred.

I think it's only the fourth ever women's double

Highest ever test score by an aussie woman. Think we were 4/90-odd at one point. One of the best knocks you will ever see.
