Sele was there last week a swell until the late change.
Really curious as to what is the issue with Host.
Last report form HPT was a very minor calf strain any updates anyone?
Why would anyone bother to provide you with an update when you won't believe them anyway?

Interesting how you say I won't believe them.
When the he was omitted from the CS side it was said it was due to a calf injury which he had to stay in Sydney for specialised treatment not available in Mudgee and it was miraculously fixed and he played ISP and from reports played well.
Pickworths words last week, when Host was not selected for 1st grade were sic "very slight calf strain will definitely be right for next week".
It's next week and Host is nowhere to be seen.
What is there to believe in either statement?
He either has a more severe injury or something is not right.
If it is a more severe injury then I would like to know the extent wouldn't you?

Ha. You're irrepressible old timer.

Are you trying to prove my point?

Latimore is definitely worth having in the squad. Apart from that no frills, consistent approach he provides as a player, he seems to be great for team morale as well. Every Instagram story i've seen from our boys has Lats in it cracking jokes and just generally making everyone laugh.

Mary might be a bellend, but one thing he does have right is that characters like Lats are the glue to your side. Team camaraderie is everything.

Agree mate.
I get OT’s point too, but Lats has done his job and after watching our reserves last week I’m pretty comfortable with him there for now.

I really find it disturbing how some supporters are willing to have a mediocre (at best] player, taking up bench space in place of a younger prospect that can develop into a fine front rower, all for the excuse "he's an experienced 1st grader". Even more disturbing is…. the coach agrees with it !!!!!!

Tom I agree.
Early days but it seems like Latimore adds real value. Lets see how he goes in weeks to come.

In hindsight you are probably right.
Having Mc Fookknuckle, Young, Hornby and Doust does indicate that we are joke and a laughing stock so having Latimore telling a few yarns fits the bill pretty well.
Honestly if you think Latimore is "part of the glue holding us together" then we are nothing more than a paper kite held together with flour and water. When they crashes they fall apart just like our team does.
Mc Fookknuckle has supposedly had great man management for over 3 years and where has that taken us to?
f**k the laughter and Instagram posts get back out on the training paddock with Graham, do some more hard yards, toughen up and start belting a few sides

What rubbish. Whinge whinge whinge. All successful clubs have experienced no frills prop stocks for the rotation. Remember Brian Norrie? Latimore pulled decent stats last week and played a good chunk of Sharks 2016 win. He is a good team man by all reports. How about supporting a guy who will never get the headlines but puts in 100% every-time who used to play for us and has returned for a last dance? Bitter old-timer, have an early brandy today and chill will ya?
For the record he really helped the Sharks premiership campaign in 2016 because he was at the Panthers that year where he started off playing 40 minutes per game and finished on an year average of 28 minutes a game.
Was picked up by the Sharks for 2017 where he averaged 22 minutes a game and was so critical to them they let him go after 1 year.
Not that I pay a lot of respect for Supercoach info but it is interesting
In 2016 he started at $312,700 and finished at $158,600 then in 2017 he started at $205,600 and finished at $155,200.
Surely there must be something to take from those stats somewhere?
Of course there is he represents "value" to us.

Seemingly, you have failed to acknowledge the contributions of a similar Latimore type player in Jon Green.

I promise you this; without Green's efforts in the 2010 preliminary final against Wests Tigers, there an exceedingly fair chance that the Dragons' most recent, prolonged premiership drought would have gone much further than 31-years.

Every club definitely requires a Jeremy Latimore type in its playing ranks.

Yep, he is worth having in the squad. But we should be wanting better from our Top 17.
