NSW team lists and insults thread 2018

Can't believe there isn't one yet. If there's one thing we NSW fans love, it's naming a team, while hanging shit on everyone else's team.

My first stab:

1. James Tedesco
2. Tom Trbojevic
3. Dylan Walker
4. James Roberts
5. Josh Addo-Carr
6. James Maloney
7. Mitchell Pearce
13. Wade Graham
12. Boyd Cordner (c)
11. Tyson Frizell
10. Paul Vaughan
9. Nathan Peats
8. Shannon Boyd

14. Jake Trbojevic
15. David Klemmer
16. Josh Jackson
17. Jack Bird

The injury to Cleary is very unfortunate. Can't see any option other than to try Pearce yet again. Maybe Moylan if he can rediscover his old form. Who else is there? Brooks? Chad? Blake Green? Sezer? Sam Williams? Reynolds x2? Doueihi? Keary has said he won't play for us, so he's not an option.

I know it's wishful thinking that we'd drop Woods, but f**k it, a man can dream. Vaughan and Boyd are monsters who get the job done week in, week out. Both should have been there last year.

Peats has to up his game to keep his spot. Korisau, Cook, and McInnes are all playing well, and I'd be equally happy with any of them.

In the backs, my first criteria was leaving out Dugan, Ferguson and Hayne, although all 3 will probably get picked again. Tedesco and Tom T have to both be there if fit. Don't care which wears 1. Dylan Walker likewise, if he can get back into form following a horror injury. I went for Roberts and Addo-Carr because they are simply deadly with a bit of space to work with. f**k defending our way to victory. It has never worked anyway. Mansour, Bird, BJ, Latrell, Cotric, Jennings, Johnston, JMoz are other options.

The last bench spot was between two Jacks - de Belin and Bird. Is it taking too much of a risk to go with 4 forwards? Bird went alright as an impact player last year, so I guess give him another go.

Insult away.

1. Teddy
2. Tommy T
3. Latrell
4. James Roberts
5. Cotric
6. Maloney
7. Pearce
8. Paul Vaughan
9. McInness
10. RCG
11. Cordner
12. Jake T
13. Jack Debeln
14. Bird
15. Klemmer
16. Frizzel
17. Boyd

If fit, i would’ve had both Cleary starting at #7 and McLean starting at prop and Boyd dropping off.

Struggling to come up with my holler but it needs to be a ball runner/ kicker and not just a tackle bot. Of options available, McInness best suits.

I’m thinking Freddie is going to go for a real clean out with his team this year. He’ll want to try and develop core team of players that could stay together for 5-10 yrs like Qld have just done. Woods, Jackson, Graham, Jennings, Hayne, Ferguson, Dugan (next cab off rank for wing/ centre though) all gone for me. To much mental baggage.

Tedesco still appears to be a certain selection, but at this stage it will be on reputation only.

I may be a tad biased, but I really think Brooks is coming out of his shell and starting to become the player everyone thought he could be.

Moses seems to be regressing badly and I mean real badly. ATM id have Brooks over Moses in the pecking order

______________

I definitely want RCG off the bench, he brings energy and punch.

Many fullbacks and centers to choose from, who is fit and in form will dictate who I would chose.

But hooker, just not sure there. Peats the incumbent has not been great, I reckon Brailey is the long term guy but probably needs another season under his belt.

big hit!

Green has been a very good club player and a smart footy brain, but f**k me, 4 games and he's suddenly an Origin candidate because his team hasn't lost yet?

Same old mentality of selecting players on a few good games in a winning club side rather than being able to identify attributes which will be enduring

You and the people who liked this are 110% wrong.

Greene played just as good all last year. His control over games is what made DCE so good.

Which is far far far far far far better than the mentality of picking someone who has failed at this level game after game after game after game after game after game after game .

As a Qlder ..please pick Mythcell .
As a footy fan ....why would you not give a decent no 7 a go who is in very good form & who also has a kicking game that makes Pearce look hopeless .

Nah go back to the definition of insanity
Doing the same thing ove & over & hoping for a different result .
