Never understand the Ryan James hype. He is just slow and lumbers around the ground, surrenders easily in tackles to. There are much better options.

in his defence, he would play only 20 mins in each match in his preferred position, and then had to make way for Graham. it also f**ked around frizell and he had to make way for Cordner switching to right forward.

i doubt Fittler will compromise the position of the captain the way Daley did. cordner will start and play the whole series at left forward. frankly, if cordner is selected as captain, there is no room for graham.
Graham >>> Cordner

Honestly, if Fittler decides to pick Woods, Jackson, Pearce and Dugan, I hope he leaves out every dragons player.

No point wearing out our players for a hopeless cause.

Bird needs to drop the Sam Kasiano impersonation before he is considered. Just another bearded lesbian since moving north.

Jennings and Josh Morris

lolz

would be wouldn't it? but which new player gets selected as LC? many players in the frame like Dugan, Aitken, Roberts are all right centres.

Mitchell is the only left centre in the bunch. steps off his left-foot, left-hand carry, fends with his right. a natural left side player, but he has big defensive concerns.

the other left centres are Jennings and JMoz

Shouldn't matter which side they play on and many high profile coaches have said as much many times before.

Just pick the blokes playing out of their skin.

The Dragons have quite a few who will be walk up starters should they avoid injury and continue their form.

yes, they may say that, but most of their players still end up playing in the position they're used to week in week out.

and form goes up and down. form doesn't predict the mental game at this level. these St George players have never been tested in pressure situations. they ran out of puff when it counted last season. Let's see how they perform on anzac day. these game will involve several players in selection frame.

Yes, that is true and we'll all feel better should some of the more fancied players stand up to said pressure.

However, NSW have won f**k all for an eternity even when selecting guys who have experienced 'pressure' so I dont give a shit who they pick as long as they are playing out of their skin for their club come selection time. Don't care which side they play on.

This is why NSW keep losing. Time to clean house and pick on form.

Just watching the Sunday footy show and Loz said he'd still pick Woods. This is why he's out.

McInnes or Wallace should be the 9. No Woods, Jackson or Cordner please.
If you're going to have the forward pack dominated by one club, wouldn't it be better to pick a club that is going well, not the one running second last? Cordner will probably make it but like Tedesco it'd be on reputation only.

i wouldn't pick woods. i wouldn't select many players who participated last series, including ferguson, hayne, the Mozs, Dugan, Pearce, Fifita, Jackson, Graham...all those players who have failed and cost NSW big time for one reason or another.

but seriously, most selections here have every freakin eligible St Illawarra player in teams. If Nightingale, Hunt, Widdop, Graham, etc were NSWelshman, they'd be put forward too.

One club doesn't have every eligible rep player. It's fanciful to think that. Origin is a step up and you select players who have shown outstanding ability and attributes rather than merely being pulled along by the current winning team, because the best team QLD can put together will annihilate an NRL team.

I agree. I was saying no to Woods and Jackson. I think it should be on form and currently the in form packs are us and dragons. Gotta have Jturbo.

Move over Cords, there is a new sheriff in town. Why waste time? Big Jake is our best forward and Australian captain in waiting. Give him the C immediately.

NSW doesn't have a decent 9. Pearce has proven he can't win a game for NSW but he'd make a good 9. Take that pressure off him and he will be fine. Best of whats left tbh.

Turbo cover for the backs, JDB cover for the forwards.

Don't think you've watched a Roosters game this year. He is dominating games on the wing making over 100 meters in each game, and busting tackles and making linebreaks like there is no tomorrow. He is not an average Origin or rep player. Did you see him win Australia's player of the tournament at the 2016 four nations.

Fergo all the way, look dead in the water after Origin last year but he has been brilliant this year. Best winger in the comp.
