Your cracking jokes!! Lomax has played his whole career at right Centre or wing - NSW, Dragons, Aust Schoolboys l. Do your homework - maybe he's played 1-2 games at left centre in the U20s but that doesn't make him a specialist left centre.. MANN would fit the bill if Lafai was dropped

Will take your word for it but I have seen him play left centre for Australian Schoolboys and left centre for the U20s. He finished the year at fullback. He has a history of playing some backrow as well. He's a versatile player that could play either side, strictly being one or the other is splitting hairs. If Lafai was to be dropped you wouldn't not consider Lomax for that spot.

Back on topic, Hunt is really starting to find his running groove. The step he put on Cordner to score had me jumping up & celebrating so hard Mrs Life’s Good thought Id lost my mind.
Ben Hunt is an absolute gun!! Best halfback in the NRL on form by a mile.. He's getting a lot of confidence in his running game now and watch him take on the line on more and more especially near oppositions line.. He's a blessing..

Now , now settle down you young whippersnappers , you are all going on like a pack of scintillating-fluid filled -pea brains . :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

As for Ben Hunt isn't it just great to see our half take the line on and actually beat it as often as he does - and mostly for 4 pointers . It's been a while since that has occurred .

It's been 8 rounds and Ben already has a pretty impressive highlights package. Having him play on the ball was a masterstroke and it's taking him back to his 2014 form when he made the Australian side and was a couple of points off the Dally M.

I know that Bennett has a lot more coaching credentials than I could ever dream of having, but restricting Hunt to the right side at the Broncos was so dumb.

My only concern is when the hamstring problems start ( I was plagued with them in my playing days despite top treatment stretching, warm ups etc) they never really come good.

Look at Aiken. Hamstring tears started last year and this is 3rd one this year. Poor ol Gymin that 2nd grade winger has never really recovered. Benji was stuffed with hammy problems last year.

Now the elephant in the room is Ben Hunt has ripped a nasty hamstring. A very bad one by all accounts. We have him signed up for a $1million plus for the next 6 years. This is a real concern fellow dragon tragics.
Damn, this was a fair post at the time, but can we just appreciate how bad it aged?

Not only the Ben Hunt part, but Aitken is now I'm career best form and Benji's return to the Tigers has been excellent.
