It really pisses me off to see them calling themselves Major League Rugby, but we saw this coming a million miles away and should have done it first. On their side there is no mention of the word 'union' on their about page.

It really pisses me off to see them calling themselves Major League Rugby, but we saw this coming a million miles away and should have done it first. On their side there is no mention of the word 'union' on their about page.

Ultimately does it really matter? Make no mistake, without union the usarl would have no players to pick from. The more people playing Union, the bigger our talent pool becomes when they get bored and / or disillusioned. We've picked up another four this season who were union die hards and have decided league is probably the better game for them

People really need to get over the Rugby thing.

If there was a professional Union comp and a professional League comp with equal visibility, people would pretty quickly figure out that they have different rules and they prefer one to the other. Even Victorians figured it out eventually.

The problem isn't a naming clash, the problem is that RL is basically invisible.
