At the game the obvious standout was Uele. Fifita like performance, they couldn't tackle him and strong offloads plus must've played about 55 - 60 mins (more than Ava) . That Newcastle team really sucked though and made nearly all our boys look like guns even without brailey and flanno. Other notable performers were nikora, gray and the fullback kennedy. The backup half back has done pretty well the couple of weeks too.

Uele was in full beast mode! I also thought Nikora was bloody good.

Some interesting stats of our forwards in this game

Minutes/Tackles/Metres

Uele 69/22/209 - Prop
Garlick 47/32/46 - was playing with Brailey out
Seuamnufagai 50/27/147 - Prop
Nikora 69/21/215 - SR
Moratis 80/34/99 - SR
Dillon 28/20/69 - Lock
Magoulias 51/33/43 - Bench
Joliffe 43/34/100 - Bench
Vasquez 42/22/104 - Bench

Uele & Nikora really standout in yardage, Dillon very limited minutes unless he was injured.

Not sure on Magoulias stats, he may have been playing some time at hooker with Garlick limited minutes

Joliffe & Vasquez nice results from bench

Didnt think it deserved a new thread so thought id just post in this one. Been to most jets home games this year and im now armed with some new binoculars much to my embarrassed wife's dismay. Particualrly been watching kyle. Today agaist the heartly B's didnt really do a whole lot apart from a genius piece of ball running in the dying minutes down the right edge where we nearly got another one of those steven bradbury newtown last gasp wins. Difted wide, threw the dummy then came back infield and found a runner that scored from memory. Also kicked one of the best sideline conversions you'll see with a strong cross wind. If he could do that for cronulla down that same side (chad's) cant see us being any worse off.

The other fill in half i actually thought looked really good and laid on our first 2 trys down the left side right after having no ball for the first 20 minutes. Jessie Marske or something is his name. Is he signed to cronulla or newtown? Has impressed the few times ive seen him play.

Ava best forward for us in a pretty uninspiring performance. Blayke brailey very quiet.

So Kyle played....Chad lives another day.

Chad will rip the eagles to shreds today, scoring 3 tries...all converted....

Jesse Marschke. Signed to Newtown but has mostly been playing for Glebe Dirty Reds, Jets' feeder club in Ron Massey Cup
