I'll summarise for the time-poor: McGregor should keep his job, because he's not as bad as Ricky Stuart.
To his credit, he appears to have at least done some research.

Mark Riddell fires shot at Canberra Raiders

Former Dragons and Eels hooker Mark Riddell has fired a shot at the Canberra Raiders, describing the club's poor season as the "elephant in the room" as a coaching saga engulfs the NRL.
The Raiders have under-performed this year and will miss the finals for the second year in a row after failing to fire under the guidance of coach Ricky Stuart.
But the blowtorch has been on coaches in the top-half of the competition after Penrith sacked Anthony Griffin, Wayne Bennett fell out with the Broncos and Paul "Mary" McGregor came under pressure at St George Illawarra.
Wests Tigers coach Ivan Cleary was linked to the Panthers job before pledging he'd see out his time with the joint venture and South Sydney mentor Anthony Seibold has been linked with the Broncos.
The coaching merry-go-round prompted Riddell to take aim at Stuart given the Raiders have made the finals once in the past five years.
Stuart has a 46 per cent winning record in Canberra.
"How can [McGregor] be criticised when I look at the Canberra Raiders and see the Canberra Raiders in the last five years have finished 15th, 10th, one finals appearance, 10th and 10th this year and no one questions the Canberra Raiders and Ricky Stuart," Riddell said on Macquarie Sports Radio on Wednesday.
"If this Canberra Raiders' record of the last five years was at South Sydney would the coach be still there?
"We are a results-driven business. Mary's got more results than Ricky Stuart. Do you think Ricky Stuart would like to be in the Dragons' position? He hasn't got his side into those positions in five years.
"Every other coach gets critiqued on their results and you look at the results of the Canberra Raiders in the last five years - no other coach in the game would be coaching if they had that record.
Riddell felt the focus shouldn't be on McGregor, a former Dragons teammate from the early 2000s, and instead set his sights on Stuart.
The Raiders board extended Stuart's contract last year until the end of 2020.
He guided the Green Machine to the preliminary final in 2016, when they were within two points of making the grand final, but they haven't made the top eight since.
Raiders chief executive Don Furner said they will conduct a post-season review, which will include an examination of the coaching structure and whether to add any assistants to Stuart's team.
The Raiders review every aspect of their operations at the end of every season to look at how to improve.
To his credit, he appears to have at least done some research.
