Such a popular team - there's something about wanting the new guys and underdogs to do well (even the troubled country element). Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh all benefited from this - but Afghanistan seem more genuinely supported.

Looking at some cricket groups I'm in on FB, it seems that coverage in England is sporadic at best as well.

Not sure about the big matches but they're complaining about not having the first two games. But yeah, it's a joke that one of the biggest ODIs of the year isn't on over here. Dedicated channel or not, FOX have had 7 sports channels for ages now. Surely India vs Pakistan rates a mention on one of them

Afghanistan are some team when they are on song. Inconsistent with the bat, mostly, as you'd expect from a relatively inexperienced side. And yeah India were without a few stars. But the Afghan bowling attack is awesome
