HT what can you tell us about Count Octave?

It’s euro form looks pretty solid on paper and is pretty big odds for both cups.

Best thing about Count Octave is that he can race anywhere in the run, very versatile, can sit in behind the leaders, can lead if he has too,can sit back in the field off a strong pace.,has to be a decent chance if brings his best Euro form forward, got the form lines around Europe's best stayer in Stradivarius,Count Octave's sire Frankel just recently produced a Group 1 winner over 4000m in France so we know the Frankels can stay all day when the going get's tough, see no reason he can't figure in the finish providing he has acclimatised well,Stradivarius would be fav for the Melb Cup if it was running,Count Octave owned by the same merkin who had Dunaden so those merkins know what horse it takes to win down here.

Thanks bruvvvvvv... Yeh the form around Stradivarius is what caught my attention, hasn’t been much talk about it which is weird.

So many Internationals again this year MC is going to be a dartboard job for sure.

Just eliminate all the local horses bar Youngstar, Ace High and Kings Will Dream.

Really like Youngstar, every run this prep has been solid with steady improvement each time.
I really hope Waller doesn't do an Autumn & spell it after the CC.

It's already run 3 runs this prep, time for some cotton wool wouldn't want to burn it out.

Just let it go- wasn’t beating Winx anyway and the owners care about the horse. They had a long think and decided to come back in the Autumn. There are key group 1’s there and it won’t be against the super mare then.

Youngstar is a year older and a more mature horse. It can obviously push on. You don’t want to kill a promising 3 year old
