I’ve been watching Longmire (Netflix).
It centres around a sheriff(Walt Longmire, played by an Aussie - Robert Taylor)and the law and order in a fictional county in Wyoming. Overlaid in all of this are the dealings in & around an Indian reservation.
Series 1 & 2 are pretty much a typical, formula crime fighting show but from Series 3 onwards it takes a darker, edgier turn that lifts the interest level up a few notches.
Lou Diamond Phillips plays a cool Indian character faced with ongoing moral questions & plays the role really well.
Be warned, it’s 6 seasons(close to 60 episodes just under an hour in length)so it’s quite a commitment but well worth it.

Almost finished season 2. Really good show imo. The parents are a pretty weird casting, feel like they could have done better on that front

Dude... they have a heap of good films.

They do promote a lot of f**king crap... but there’s some great stuff out there if you look past all the Adam Sandler type garbage.

Okja, Beasts of no nation, A Message from the king... off the top of my head...

even that comedy War movie with Brad Pitt in it was pretty good.

There’s a heap of bollocks for sure... but there’s some quality in amongst it...

But thats the kind of trade off you gotta make for fantasy and etc these days, lots its fans are sjw girls/helicopters, some of whom naturally find their way into being show writers
