"You need to be a good bloke".

Funny that; because I've distinctly got the feeling that Renshaw has been treated too harshly the past 18 months precisely because he is such a softly spoken, nice bloke.

"He needs to spit more venom" or some shit. That was the Boof approach anyway.

Nothing to do with him being softly spoken

Renshaw was badly out of form leading into the ashes, real bad. Bancroft had some good score including a couple of big tons from memory.

Saw something on Fox Sports this morning with Langer saying that runs are the only currency of value, after saying that Shaun Marsh will not only play in the upcoming ODI series vs SA but also a likely starter for the First Test against India.

Hypocrite much???

I remember when he gave it to Renshaw last summer no one has a god given right to the baggy green or something similar. He should of added unless you are from WA.

I also heard over the weekend that Sean Marsh is a great player apparently , his test average of 35 sort of debunks this BS.

Yeah, but you should see how well he bats in the nets with super coach bowling to him. That's where it's at.
Can't forget that time he scored a hundred in the backyard either.

We'll be hearing how the marsh bros were very unlucky in the UAE soon.

Then the form is temporary class is permanent bullshit

Yeah but his spreadsheet has the 'Marsh adjustment' built in

Form is temporary and class is permanent. Le sigh.

It's always amazing how shithouse players who are mates with the coach and selectors have 'class', but honest hardworking players like Burns and Khawaja always have to be 'in form',

You're all being too harsh on S Marsh.

On this tour he averaged 50% more than a legend like Chris Martin did over his career - 3.5 to Martin's 2.36.

Impressive stuff.

Surely that's worth chance no. 30 to prove himself.

Great to see us chalk another t20 win overnight
Ledger in the positive 4-3. We could really dominate

You're being incredibly selective with your data - you haven't included his huge scores in the Marsh family backyard cricket - that's seriously elite shit, where technique and character are paramount...

And as above, while runs are the only currency, the exchange rate matters...

With all the correct maths done, SMarsh is a great, no mistake

SMarsh and MMarsh are this generations SWaugh and MWaugh. They even have the same first initials and if you flip the M around you get a W so there initials would be the exact same, seriously spooky stuff guys

Mitch Marsh with a taped up swing king is legendary.

Shaun and Mitch Marsh remind me of Jake Marketo and Mitch Rein at the Dragons. Always seem to make team despite being absolutely shit.
